Curriculum
Math 100 is held 6.5 hours per week
Math 200 is held 4.5 hours per week.
Math 300 is Optional.
Learn fractions, decimals and percents, word problems, signed numbers and pre-algebra. Learn causes and effects of processes and that this can be expressed through mathematical equations. Learning is enhanced by weekly problem sets.
Learn first and second degree algebra, graphing solution sets of equations, perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with polynomials, understand geometry, basic trigono-metric and pre-calculus problems using the sine, cosine and tangent. Properly use a calculator.
Learn advanced algebraic concept through the study of functions, “families of functions,” equations, inequalities, polynomials, rational expressions, elementary trigonometry and complex numbers. Learn the use of technology (computer software and graphic calculator).
