SPANISH 200 and 300 COURSE WORK

Curriculum

 

Spanish 200 is held 3 hours per week. 

 

Spanish 300 is Optional.

Distinguish sounds and parts  of speech for comprehension, expand vocabulary, exchange greetings, gain meaning aided by gesture and situation, write from dictation, develop an appreciation of Spanish-speaking cultures, use the internet for assignments.

At an accelerated and rigorous pace become familiar with the Imperfect, Preterit, Conditional, Future, Subjunctive, Present Perfect, and Past Perfect Compound Tenses and the Passive Voice. Training is in linguistic skills, speaking, listening, reading and writing with an emphasis on speaking/ listening skills.

Course Goal

Provide students with an introduction that will facilitate taking a beginning college course.

Provide students with intense instruction that will facilitate taking an advanced course at the postsecondary level.
