Office of Alcohol & Other Drug Program Initiatives

The mission of the office of Alcohol and Other Drug Program Initiatives is to identify and address critical issues that inhibit academic progression and success. Through vigorous, ongoing research, the office seeks to identify methods to reduce substance abuse and violence, control and mitigate campus environments where potential for abusive behavior exists, and foster a campus culture in which healthy living efforts are plentiful and successful. The Office of Alcohol and Other Drug Program Initiatives works collaboratively with University faculty and staff, community partners, and students to integrate effective and relevant policies, enforcement practices, and education programs into one comprehensive environmental management program to achieve these goals.
