Internal Links - University Colleagues

  • Vice Provost for University Life (VPUL) - VPUL nurtures the interests and aspirations of Penn students through world-class services that effectively and efficiently foster the integration of students’ intellectual, cultural, personal, recreational, social and leadership experiences.

  • Office of Alcohol and Other Drug Program Initiatives (AOD) - The Office of Alcohol and Other Drug Program Initiatives provides comprehensive health promotion and prevention services for students addressing such issues as alcohol and other drug use. Alcohol and Other Drug Program Initiatives coordinates the work of the student peer education group Drug and Alcohol Resource Team (DART). The office staff are available to make referrals for brief intervention, harm reduction services and referrals to other on-campus and off-campus services (i.e. AA/NA meetings, HIV testing, alcohol treatment services.) Assistance is available by calling (215) 573-3525.

  • Office of Student Life (OSL) - The Office of Student Life has responsibility for student activities and governance, student performing arts, the PennQuest and PENNacle pre-orientation programs, University Life leadership training programs, and campus-wide special events such as Family Weekend, “No Place Like Penn” Weekend, Homecoming, Spring Fling, Hey Day and Ivy Day. Let us help you get involved at Penn.

  • Office of Fraternity and Sorority Affairs (OFSA)- The Office of Fraternity and Sorority Affairs oversees the social well being of the Greek System at Penn, along with acting as an agent for Greek houses through our Facilities Management department.

  • Office of Student Conduct (OSC) - OSC is responsible for acting on behalf of the University in matters of student discipline. OSC deals with alleged instances of academic dishonesty and other student misconduct, in order to determine how best to resolve these allegations consistent with the goals and mission of the University as an educational and intellectual community.

  • College Houses and Academic Services (CHAS) - Penn are eleven unique undergraduate residences - hubs of intellectual, social, and recreational activity. They stand at the center of the Penn undergraduate experience, bringing together undergraduates, faculty, staff and graduate students to form shared communities within the larger context of Penn's vibrant campus.

  • Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) - CAPS offers a wide range of services including: individual and group counseling and therapy, crisis intervention, structured workshops, psychological testing, medication reviews, and consultation.

  • Student Health Services (SHS) - SHS is the main medical source for the students of the Uuniversity of Pennsylvania.

  • University of Pennsylvania Police Department (UPPD) - The Division of Public Safety is comprised of four units: The Penn Police Department, The Fire and Occupational Safety Unit, the Special Services Unit and the Security Services Unit. Additionally, we have contracted with three security partners, Allied Security, iXP Corp., and Security Services and Technologies (SST).

  • Off-Campus Living (OCL) - OCL deals with all local housing arrangements off campus.

  • Provost's Office - The Provost’s office at Penn serves as the academic touchstone of the University, overseeing all academic policies and activities, setting a tone for the highest academic standards, and overseeing all 12 of Penn’s schools.
