Resources for Recovery

The University provides services and resources for community members who experience alcohol and/or drug related difficulties. The following on-campus programs are available for students, staff and faculty:

NEW: Sober Housing Available Fall 2007!

Counseling and Psychological Services (confidential)
2nd Floor, 133 S. 36th Street/3246 (students)

The Counseling and Psychological Service offers a wide range of services including: individual and group counseling and therapy, crisis intervention, structured workshops, psychological testing, medication reviews, and consultation. One or more of our services could be suitable for you. Your first appointment allows us to gather information, get a clear picture of your needs, and to make some decisions about the most appropriate course of action to be taken. At times, this could involve our referring you to some other office on campus or to some other agency or professional who may better serve your needs.

PENN Employee Assistance Program
PENN Employee Assistance Program is a free, confidential one-on-one counseling service provided by the University for Penn faculty and staff and their family members. This program can offer assistance with serious life issues 24 hours a day, seven days a week by calling 1.888.321.4433. Services are available at over 450 locations throughout the Delaware Valley, including an on-campus office at 3535 Market Street.
