you drink because you are shy with other people

drinking is affecting your reputation

you have felt remorse after drinking

you drink to escape from worries or trouble

you sometimes drink alone

you have had a loss of memory as a result of drinking

you have been to a hospital or institution because of drinking

you have repeatedly set limits on the amount of alcohol you will drink and have been unable to stick to it

a relative, frien, doctor or other health worker has been concerned about your drinking or suggested that you cut down

people have been annoyed you by criticizing your drinking

If you have checked off 2 or more of these questions, it may suggest that you are developing patterns of alcohol use that could be harmful to you. It is recommended that you contact someone at CAPS regarding a more thorough evaluation.
