Psychology Post-Doctorate
Clinical Activities
Clinical activities include the following: phone triage, initial interviews, crisis intervention, group and individual psychotherapy (both brief- and longer-term). Outreach activities include making presentations on various topics and providing consultation/liaison services to the University at large. Post-Docs participate with staff in regularly scheduled staff meetings and professional development seminars. Other opportunities are available such as, providing didactic seminars and supervising individual practicum-level trainees.
In addition, there is the opportunity to spend 2-4 hours per week developing a clinical specialty of your choosing. Possibilities in this area are not limited to the University, and could include work in the greater Philadelphia community.
Training Component
Training includes weekly individual face-to-face supervision, individual supervision for group therapy, and individual supervision for other clinical as well as outreach/programmatic opportunities listed above.
