Mindful Tea Workshop
Have you ever eaten a meal, a cookie or snack and then realized that you don't remember ever tasting the food? If you have had this experience, this workshop is for you.
Join us for this three part workshop as we enhance our ability to savor and thus nurture our bodies and our minds. Through in-class experience, you will learn and practice particular mindfulness skills that you can use to develop your ability to be present and savor your food. We will practice relating to our food through each of our senses and to stay with the full experience, even becoming aware of distracting thoughts, to do lists, judgments, feelings and body sensations. These are mindfulness skills that you can apply to everyday life and at every meal.
This workshop is free and open to all Penn students. To participate, you must register. Please inform us on your registration form if you have food allergies.
