Hours & Location

Career Services is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. During the academic year, the Career Services library is open until 6 p.m. Monday through Wednesday.

Our offices are in the basement level of the McNeil Building, Suite 20, 3718 Locust Walk. (McNeil is located near 37th and Spruce Sts. and an entrance to our office is located directly across from Vance Hall).

Appointments & Walk-ins

Counselors are available to discuss concerns regarding career planning and job hunting through half-hour appointments or on a walk-in basis. Walk-in appointments are 15 minutes long and are on a first-come, first-served basis.

Fall 2008 Walk-Ins:

Sign-ups begin 15 minutes prior to each session - first come, first-served.

To schedule an appointment in advance, call Shannon Kelly at 215-898-7529. Generally, pre-scheduled appointments are 30 minutes in length.

E-mail Distribution Lists

We are here  to help you with all aspects of your career - from career exploration and decision-making to writing the perfect resume.

In order to keep you informed of programs, job opportunities, and employment news, we maintain e-mail distribution lists for each class (by year of graduation). We use these lists frequently and many students find the service to be quite helpful.

We are very careful to title our subject lines carefully so that you can delete any mail that is not relevant to your needs. You must have an e-mail account from a ".upenn.edu" domain to subscribe.
