UDA Pattern Books provide both guidelines and details for others to create appropriate urban buildings, houses, neighborhoods, and towns. Our architecture for individual buildings creates public places and a sense of community identity. By working at many scales, we find ways of coordinating the design of individual buildings, the public spaces they help create, the towns of which they are a part, and the regional culture that they celebrate. In the UDA Internship program, the positions are for two years during which time interns work in design teams and gain experience in all phases of our practice, including: analyzing urban areas; researching architectural precedents; urban design; arch. design. |

Positions are available for those interested in participating in a broad range of architectural phases. Applicants should be familiar with 2D AutoCad and Adobe Photoshop as well as hand drawing skills and physical modeling ability. Skills in Sketch Up and Revit are also used.
