Career Exploration

Planning your career involves a process that is challenging and exciting. Think of your career as a life long process requiring a careful evaluation of your values, skills and interests. Most of us hope to find work that exercises our abilities, stimulates our interests and suits our personalities. This is not a simple task. However if you are willing to take the time to identify your specific interests and strengths you will discover there is a systematic approach for making good career decisions.

Keep in mind that evaluating your career choices requires patience and effort. At certain points you may feel discouraged or anxious. But if you have a good understanding of your talents and goals and persevere through the maze of career information, you are bound to find the right path.
