Funding Information at Career Services

Career Services receives hundreds of announcements from funding organizations annually. These announcements are forwaded to students and postdocs on our email lists. To sign up to be on the list, click here.

Career Services subscribes to The Grant Advisor. Each monthly electronic issue describes in detail 30-40 fellowships and grants and has a calendar listing deadlines for the next three months, arranged by broad subject area, with links to organizations' websites. "The Grant Works" section includes helpful articles on writing applications, defining budgets, and identifying funding sources. This on-line subscription is through the Career Services funding homepage (click here).

In the Career Services library, you will find extensive reference materials. Click here to go straight to library homepage. Check:

• The Funding section (books have green tape on spines). Click here to search the library for books related to funding.
  
  

• Directories of funding organizations and books on writing applications. Particularly useful are: Foundation Grants to Individuals, Peterson's Grants for Postdoctoral Study, Directory of Financial Aids for Women, Funding for United States Study, and the Annual Register of Grant Support.
