For Students in the School of Social Policy & Practice
General Information
There are four different exams offered by the Association of Social Work Boards corresponding to the four social work practice levels: Bachelors, Masters, Advanced Generalist, and Clinical. Be sure to check with the appropriate state board to find out which level exam you need to take. Exam Preparation
The ASWB offers study guides for all of the exams. The ASWB Study Guides include a description of the examination development process, the administration procedures, sample questions and suggestions on how to prepare for the examination. The following three ASWB study guides are available in the Career Services library: Masters, Advanced General, and Clinical.
Library hours are 9-5 Monday, Thursday and Friday and 9-6 on Tuesdays and Wednesdays when classes are in session (Library hours are 9-5 Monday through Friday when classes are not in session). While no materials may leave the library, a copy machine is available for your use.
