Virtual International Opportunities Career Fair
Teaching, Internships, Full-Time and Graduate Study Opportunities Abroad
November 10, 2011 - December 21, 2011

Presented by University of Pennsylvania Career Services

About the Fair

The Virtual International Opportunities Fair, an online career fair, is for Penn students and alumni who are interested in international opportunities.

Through PennLink you can “visit” the International Opportunities Fair to meet representatives from 62 globally-oriented organizations, companies, and schools that provide teaching, internship, work opportunities and post-graduate education abroad.

The online format of the fair enables you to make contact with employers by viewing their profiles and submitting resumes to employers/positions that interest you.  In some cases, employers do not list particular positions, but you should still submit a resume to employers who interest you. After the fair is over, employers will receive the resumes you dropped and will contact you directly if they’re interested in an interview. As this is a pilot project, the number of participating employers is limited but there are some great opportunities available in this small list. We hope to expand on such efforts in the future.

To participate in the Virtual International Opportunities Fair:

  • Log into PennLink at: http://www.vpul.upenn.edu/careerservices/pennlink_jobseekers.html by using your Pennkey. If you do not have an account already, you will be asked to complete a brief profile.
  • Upload or update your resume (if you haven’t done so already) by clicking on the “Documents” tab.
  • Click on “Virtual International Opportunities Fair” under the “Events” tab and you’ll be able to select which organizations you’d like to send your resume to.
  • Be sure to click on “Positions Recruited” to read the full description of opportunities.
