Career Services counselors are available to discuss concerns regarding career planning and job hunting during appointments, walk-ins and mock interviews. Walk-in appointments are 15-minute meetings available on a first-come first-served basis, appointments are half-hour meetings scheduled in advance and mock interviews are one-hour practice sessions designed to sharpen your interviewing skills. Videoing is available for mock interviews upon request. In addition to our regular walk-ins, also check out our schedule of wandering walk-ins at various cultural centers.

College Resume Critiques

If you'd like a critique, submit any documents for review specifically to the College of Arts and Sciences team by dropping off printed documents in our office to Mike Broida at the CAS desk. You may also submit documents by emailing and putting "Resume Review Request" in the subject line.  Please allow up to one week for your review to be completed by an advisor.

We are here  to help you with all aspects of your career - from career exploration and decision-making to writing the perfect resume.

In order to keep you informed of programs, job opportunities, and employment news, we maintain e-mail distribution lists for each class (by year of graduation). We use these lists frequently and many students find the service to be quite helpful. We are very careful to title our subject lines carefully so that you can delete any mail that is not relevant to your needs. You must have an e-mail ending in "" to subscribe.

Engineering Counseling Appointments & Walk-ins

Advisors are available to discuss concerns regarding career planning and job searching through half-hour appointments or on a walk-in basis. Walk-in advising blocks are 15 minutes long and are on a first-come, first-served basis. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before start of each walk-in block in order to sign in. Walk-in hours are located in Suite 20 in the basement of the McNeil Building.

Engineering Resume Critiques

If you would like a critique, submit any documents for review specifically to the Engineering area of Career Services by dropping off printed documents in our office when classes are in session. Emailed resumes will only be accepted for Alumni or students who are abroad.  If by email, please be sure that the documents sent are in Word (no PDFs) and that you put "Review Request" in the subject line. Please allow up to three to five business (working) days for your review to be completed.

Mock InterviewsPractice is the best way to approach interviews with confidence!  Meet with a Career Services counselor for a one-hour practice interview to sharpen your skills.  Videotaping is available, upon request.

Wharton Counseling Appointments and Walk-ins

Counselors are available to discuss concerns regarding choosing a career, career planning, summer and permanent employment searches and other related issues. The schedule for 15 minute walk-in sessions is below.
