David Ross, Associate Director

David has spent the majority of his professional career working in career services.  His experience includes serving as a member of the employer relations team of the MBA Career Management office of Georgetown University in addition to work in employer relations at the Toppel Career Center at the University of Miami.  David holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis where he majored in Marketing, Management and Organization & Human Resources while minoring in Psychology.  He also holds a Master of Science in Education with a focus on Higher Education Management from Penn.

Robert Gannone, Administrative Assistant

Providing administrative assistance to David and Barbara, Robert sets up appointments, handles the counselors work flow and manages the administrative details of projects including career fairs and surveys.  He graduated from the University of Scranton in the spring of 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and a minor in English.  While completing his undergraduate degree, Robert worked in several departments at the University of Scranton including the offices of public relations, communication, and summer camps and conferences. 

Barbara Hewitt, Senior Associate Director

Barbara joined the Career Services office at Penn in 1998 as a career counselor working with students in the College of Arts and Sciences. In 2000, she was promoted to the position of Senior Associate Director working with Wharton undergraduate students.  In addition to working with students, she also supervises the on-campus recruiting program at Penn.  Prior to joining the Penn Career Services team she worked for two years in career services at the College of Wooster  and for five years in career services at Dickinson College.  Barbara holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Spanish from Dickinson College, an MS in Counseling from Shippensburg University, and an Ed.D. in Higher Education Management from the University of Pennsylvania. 

Samantha Camoni, Graduate Assistant

Samantha is this year’s newest addition to the Wharton Career Services team.  Samantha comes to us from the University of Scranton where she majored in Counseling and Human Services while minoring in Psychology and Spanish.  Her experience includes serving as an intern and part time staff member at the University of Scranton’s Office of Career Services.  Currently, she is pursuing her M.S. Ed. in Higher Education Management at the University of Pennsylvania.
