Bethesda Project is a faith based, ecumenical community of prayer, reflection and action, is dedicated to the plight of homeless people in Philadelphia. Their primary mission is to “ create communities wherein men and women, who experience chronic homelessness, find sanctuary and have their basic needs met in the company of a compassionate and caring family†. Bethesda operates My Brother’s House, a safe haven for vulnerable homeless men and six permanent residences for formerly homeless women and men. (215) 985-1600
Project H.O.M.E. is a nonprofit organization committed to social and political advocacy and provides housing and services to chronically homeless men and women.
