Theatrical Performance: Claudio Mir "Mondongo Scam"

Mondongo Scam is a solo theater piece that deals with stereotypes of all kinds. It’s a brief description of the lives of so many people living and working in the United States and their struggles for survival. Mondongo Scam is a monologue about the possible personality changes resulting from the need to use another individual's personal documents. It travels from different decades in the past to the present, interweaving nationalities, genres, places, ages, verbs and spirits. The action takes place in a courtroom where an immigrant Latino worker is on trial for using social security cards and other documents of deceased U.S.
citizens.
