The mission of the PRIDE Gay and Straight Alliance is to promote awareness and to educate the Arcadia University community about respecting diversity, which includes all sexual orientations, and the lifestyles associated with them; to provide a non-threatening environment for those who are out, questioning their sexuality, or are supportive of the LGBT community; to provide a social environment in which LGBT students and heterosexual students can interact comfortably; and to provide opportunities for those who desire political activism.

Stop in during lounge hours to chat, study, watch a movie, read, or just hang out. Meetings are held Mondays, 10:00pm - 11:00pm. Everyone is welcome. Anyone who wishes to contribute their ideas and thoughts, or just wants to listen to others, is welcome.

Swarthmore Queer Union

SQU is dedicated to raising social and political awareness by providing relevant cultural programming on campus and advocating queer and questioning issues to the administration about student life, faculty and curriculum. As a population that is discriminated against, queer and questioning students need a safe space free from heterosexism and homophobia. In this space, queer and questioning students are able to share experiences, build support networks, educate themselves and others and develop strategies to combat oppression.
