What We Do
The Office of Learning Resources provides professional consultation services in university relevant skills such as academic reading, writing, study strategies, and time management to the Penn community. This academic support is provided through a varied menu of services and programs.
Students can make appointments for one-on-one consultations with a Learning Instructor to address concerns and build upon already strong study strategies. Call 215-573-9235 for an appointment.
The Weingarten Center is open during Spring Break (March 6th to 10th), but there will be no walk-in hours. Please call 215-573-9235 to make an appointment with a learning instructor.
During the Fall and Spring semesters, we offer 30-minute walk-in sessions on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Interactive workshops provide group learning opportunities throughout the academic year. Several workshop series have been designed for specific groups of students. Our current series for Spring 2017 are Fresh Start for undergraduates, A+ Academics Plus for undergraduate and graduate international students, Course Management for undergraduates who may be returning from time away from Penn or seeking to improve their academic standing, and Unpack and Prepare: Science, Math & Economics Exams for undergraduates studying in those disciplines.
Workshops can be requested for particular courses, college houses, student organizations, or other University groups through our Workshop Request Form.
