Accommodated Exam Process - MyWLRC
Students requesting exams can log-in to MY WLRC using Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer, or Safari. If you have questions, please call 215.573.9235 or write to sdsmail@zimbra.upenn.edu
- Create or update an accommodated course list (formerly known as a course roster).
- Meet with a member of the SDS staff to create or revise an accommodated course list.
- View a list of approved accommodations.
- Select "Approved accommodations" from the application menu to view the "Approved accommodations" screen.
- Request a new accommodated exam.
- Select "Accommodated exams->Manage requests" from the application menu to view the "Accommodated exam requests" screen.
- Select a term to show the accommodated course list for that term.
- Click "Request accommodated exam" beside the course name to view the "Accommodated exam" screen.
- Select an original exam date from the dropdown menu. If the date of your exam is not listed, choose "New exam" and specify the date of your exam in the input field that appears.
- Specify desired accommodations and any comments.
- Click "Submit request."
- Check the status of an accommodated exam request.
- Select "Accommodated exams -> Manage requests" from the application menu to view the "Accommodated exam requests" screen.
- Select a term to show the accommodated course list for that term.
- Click "View requests" beside the course name to view the "Request history" screen for that course. Each listed request displays its status. OR
- Select "Accommodated exams -> Request history" from the application menu to view the "Accommodated exam requests" screen for all terms. Each listed request displays its status.
- Revise or cancel an accommodated exam request.
- Select "Accommodated exams -> Request history" from the application menu to view the "Accommodated exam requests" screen for all terms.
- Follow instructions to check the status of a request. On the "Request history" screen, each open request offers buttons to revise or cancel it.
- View history of accommodated exam requests.
- Helpful Definitions:
- ACL = Accommodated Course List. This was previously referred to as a Course Roster
- Exam Status: Submitted = Your request has been made successfully
- Accepted = Your exam has been approved and you are awaiting location information
- Arranged = Your exam location has been determined. Everything is set for you to take your exam.
