The Fifth Annual Disability Symposium will be held at the University of Pennsylvania on Friday, April 7 th. The theme of this event, “Perspectives,” will bring together points of view on a variety of current topics. As in past years, it will also provide a forum for exchanging our own perceptions and experiences with colleagues from many other colleges and universities. Plenary and workshop topics include: Perspectives from the Office of Civil Rights; Reasonable accommodations with high stakes testing; Non-prescription use of stimulant medication; Retention of students with disabilities; Current research and counseling of students with ADHD; and a panel of students, sharing their perspectives.

Fourteen spaces are available for exhibitors. Spaces include one 6’ x 30" table, two chairs and an identification sign. Two people from each organization will be given credentials to attend all Symposium events. Additional persons are welcome to register as attendees for the Symposium. Last year 230 disability service providers, faculty, students, and staff from 50 northeastern college and universities attended the Symposium. This is a wonderful event to exhibit your products and services. Loading and unloading information will follow.
