Senior Celebration and Award Ceremony
The Makuu Annual Senior Celebration gives seniors the chance to reflect on their time at Penn in fellowship with others, and to give their families a chance to celebrate the accomplishments of their sons and daughters. The focus of the program is to honor and acknowledge seniors, nominated by their peers, faculty and staff, who have positively affected the African-American community thus creating a positive Penn community through service. Outstanding University seniors receive a special awards in recognition of their exemplary academic, intellectual, social, cultural, and professional achievements during their undergraduate years at Penn.
