Mission

The Office of Health Education (OHE) supports the academic and student services (VPUL) mission of the University of Pennsylvania by promoting a safe and healthy environment for undergraduate, graduate and professional students. OHE works to prevent individual and community student health problems that - if left unaddressed, could harm students’ academic performance and quality of life while enrolled at Penn.

While students are the primary recipients of these services, OHE is also committed to serving faculty and staff when appropriate. OHE collects and shares Penn specific health assessment data as well as other research relevant to the college population. In addition, OHE is a placement site for graduate students and staff collaborates with faculty in teaching academic courses.
