Where can you get immunized against influenza?

On Campus

Student Health Services

Appointments: For Students only. Appointments are available online at Student Health Services. Click HERE to make an appointment. After authenticating yourself with your PennKey and birthdate, you’ll be able to select “Appointments” from the menu in the left-hand column. Follow the instructions to see a list of available appointments for flu shots. Evening and Saturday appointments are available!

Available Vaccines: They cost $25 and will be covered by the Aetna Student Health insurance or, if you have private insurance, can be billed to your bursar account. Appointments are available and can be made through our web site.

Hospital of University of Pennsylvania

Appointments: You must set up an appointment with a primary care physician by calling 1-800-789-PENN (7366)

Available Vaccines: There are two vaccines available. The Trivalent Inactivated Influenza vaccine (TIA) Injection and the Live Attenuated Influenza vaccine (LAIV) IntraNasal.
Costs:
regular co-pay for your insurance provider

For Penn Faculty & Staff - Walk-ins basis at Occupational Medicine in HUP on the ground floor of the Silverstein Building, at 3400 Spruce Street. 215-662-2354
Costs: $20 cash, you need your Penncard

Off-Campus

Philadelphia Community-Based Flu Clinics

Appointments: Walk-ins for 1. Residents of the City of Philadelphia and 2. People over 50 years of age or over 19 years of age with a chronic illness and 3. You haven’t been able to get the vaccine from your doctor or health care provider
