Services

The Office of Health Education offers a variety of services in order to best meet the needs of the campus community. Programs are determined on priorities established through ongoing data collection and program evaluation efforts.

 

Stress Relief Programs

  • Massage - release stress through theraputic massage
  • Stress Relief Workshops - Contact us and we can help you plan a stress relief workship for your group. Workshops can include techniques in mindful meditation, massage, Reike, etc. For more information email HealthEd@pobox.upenn.edu

Academic Initiatives

  • Nursing 503: Contemporary Issues in Health and Human Sexuality - This course emphasizes the theories of sexual development and sexual behavior within the continuum of health and disease. Common sexual practices of people, including Penn’s campus, are studied in relation to life-style and/or situational life crisis. Contemporary issues in sexuality and health will be examined. Both in class discussions and out of class assignments require personal growth and reflection.

  • College Health Liaisons Program

Penn Student Health Insurance - This is NOT handled by the Office of Health Education, but rather Student Health Services.
