Health Education
There
are seven student groups that partner with the Office of Health
Education to provide programs and services that promote a safe and
healthy environment for undergraduate, graduate and professional
students.
Active Minds (Mental Health Awareness)
D.A.R.T.
(The Drug and Alcohol Resource Team)
G.U.I.D.E (Body
Image Activists)
F.L.A.S.H.
(Facilitating Learning about Sexual Health)
P.S.A.T. (Penn Students Against Tobacco)
R.A.P.-Line
(The Reach-A-Peer Helpline)
S.T.A.A.R.
(Students Together Against Acquaintance Rape)

These
partnerships take different forms depending on the group but can
include:

professional oversight and advising (R.A.P.-Line)
- training
or designing the training for new members
- designing
and facilitating leadership development sessions for executive
board members
- collaboration
on program assessment and evaluation efforts
- co-sponsoring
and/or co-facilitating in educational presentations
- co-sponsorship
of awareness events
- sharing
and/or providing educational materials
