Dear Penn Family:
It is with great pleasure that I invite you to join us on Penn’s campus for Family Weekend 2007. This is a wonderful time to enjoy the Penn experience as a family -- whether your student is a freshman or a senior.
You will have many opportunities to sample the stimulating intellectual life and the feast of artistic, cultural, and recreational activities that your child enjoys. Take in an interdisciplinary discussion with our world-class faculty. Visit the vibrant new Platt Student Performing Arts House, and catch a performance by one of our many talented student groups or a play at the Annenberg Center. Explore ancient Egyptian or Native American culture at our internationally renowned University Museum; then see our world through fresh lenses at the Institute of Contemporary Art.
I hope you will cheer on our fabulous student athletes as they battle Ivy League opponents in volleyball, soccer, field hockey, and football. The full schedule of events can be found here.
There are countless ways to feed your minds, bodies, and spirits at Penn, but don’t just take my word for it. Come see for yourselves and enjoy an extraordinary fall weekend of celebration and reunion. I look forward to greeting you when I address all parents on Friday afternoon in Irvine Auditorium.
Sincerely,
