The Iron Gate Theatre, located on the corner of 37th and Chestnut Streets, can be reserved through Perelman Quad. The Iron Gate Theatre was named for its most prominent feature -the large, ornamental iron gates at the main entrance to the building. The building is home to the theatre; Tabernacle United Church's sanctuary, offices and meeting space; and a large rehearsal room with adjacent dressing areas. Renovated in 1998, the theatre can be reserved by University departments/organizations and non-University organizations for groups of 250 people.
