Uniting the facilities at Perelman Quadrangle, both in purpose and architecturally, is the open-air plaza known as Wynn Commons. With an integrated amphitheater and rostrum, it is built not only for gathering between Penn's other fantastic event spaces, but also as host to outdoor concerts, lectures, and tented events. The magnitude of outdoor events held at Wynn Commons is amplified by its enclosure within Penn's most historic buildings, but the modernity of the plaza itself gives event goers the sensation of being part of a truly contemporary institution.
