Liz Ramos

Liz Ramos is currently a senior in Mechanical Engineering. She is originally from Dingman's Ferry, Pennsylvania but now spends most of her time away from school in north Jersey with her grandparents. Liz is involved with several other groups on campus, including the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, Society of Automotive Engineers, and the International Affairs Association. She is very passionate about travel, and spent a semester during her junior year abroad in Queensland, Australia. After graduation Liz be working for General Motors near Detroit, Michigan.

Amanda Kennell

Amanda Kennell is a Master's student studying the visual media of modern Japanese popular culture.  Currently writing her thesis on women and violence in the anime Kite, Amanda is also the Women's Center's webmistress.  Before coming to Penn Amanda worked at the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences as an editorial assistant, and at the Asia Society Washington Center as a Program Assistant.  She received her B.A. in East Asian Studies from Smith College, where she was in charge of an expansion of the Smith Science-Fiction and Fantasy Society's library and organized the anime section of the same group's annual convention twice.
