Anna Chen
Kitchen Coordinator

Hi all! My name is Anna Chen and I am currently a sophomore in the Nursing and Healthcare Management Dual-Degree Program. I was originally born in China but grew up in Texas, Arizona, and Minnesota, where my permanent address is (for now). At the Penn Women’s Center, I am the co-coordinator for the Penn Environmental Educational Kitchen (PEEK). I love working here because the environment is not only very inviting but also relaxing. Some of my interests include swimming, playing violin and piano, reading about random chunks of history, fashion, cooking, etc. On campus, I am also a part of the Relay For Life Logistics Committee, Wharton Undergraduate Marketing Committee, Ancient Studies Residential Program, Kite and Key Club, etc. Furthermore, I am a Wharton cohort mentor and an overnight host for prospective students. In the future, I hope to work for the World Health Organization and help gather data from all aspects of healthcare, especially in maternal health. However, I do have a love for advertising and I could really see myself going down that direction too. I guess I’m like many students here, torn between certain career decisions, but I’ve still got plenty of time to figure that out. :)
