Hello everyone! I’m Ana Mei and I come from Los Angeles, California. I am currently a sophomore in the Engineering school, majoring in Digital Media Design. My hobbies include drawing and graphic design and that’s how I came to work at the Penn Women’s Center as a Graphic Designer. Beyond my work, I love PWC for its friendly environment and the services it offers to women. Besides my involvement with the PWC, I am also a member of Women in Computer Science(WiCS). I feel that it's important to promote a sense of community among women of different backgrounds.

I have been in love with art ever since I could first hold a pencil and draw. I like to be constantly surrounded by, and engaged in the production of, art of all kinds. Since I became a Digital Media Design student, I have developed a interest in programming. It is challenging to code a fully functional program, but I thoroughly enjoy the process. Currently, I am familiar with Java and Ocaml but wish to expand by knowledge by working in other languages.
