We are delighted to announce a new naming opportunity: the Penn Women's Center Garden. This beautiful garden provides, on a campus replete with fraternity gardens, Penn's first-ever outdoor space prioritizing the programmatic and personal needs of women. Expertly designed by Penn's Landscape architect Robert Lungren, the garden provides a unique, tranquil, welcoming space for reading or relaxing on a brick terrace among lush plantings. The central feature is a stone fireplace/grill perfect for hosting informal meals as well as larger celebrations. The garden also contains edible plants to help educate the Penn community about the delights and benefits of home-grown food and thus strengthens Penn's commitment to green living. All members of the Penn community are invited to book the space for events and meetings, to join our volunteer gardening committee, and to help the garden grow in the seasons to come. To discuss endowing the Women's Center Garden, please contact the Director, Dr. Litty Paxton at fpaxton@sas.upenn.edu.
Donations for our general programming can be made by navigating through the University of Pennsylvania's online giving website in another window. On the new webpage, under "Choose a general area" select "University Life". For the "Select a program" box choose "Penn Women's Center", and use "Penn Women's Center Gift Fund" for the specific fund. Thank you!
