University Life (VPUL) is the foremost
provider of student support services to the
Penn community. VPUL's mission supports
the three tenets of Penn's Campus
Compact: increased access; integrative
knowledge, and local and global
engagement through the following core
services: academic support services;
student activities; campus resource
centers; health and wellness programs;
civic engagement; and VPUL facility and
administrative services that reach all
22,000 Penn undergraduate, graduate, and
professional students as well as
thousands of faculty, staff, alumni, and
community members.

The Vice Provost for University Life would like to announce the retirement of our friend and colleague Harold J. Haskins after 33 years of service to the University of Pennsylvania. A celebration of Hask's "University Life and Legacy" was held on Sunday, April 29, 2007 at Irvine Auditorium.
"The Harold Haskins Fund" has been established to commemorate Mr. Harold Haskins' contributions to generations of Penn students and their families. The fund will be designated to support meaningful recognition honoring Harold and to fund student-related initiatives and programs.
