We will be moving to our new home at 3535 Market Street. July 1, 2008 will be our official opening date. Our new location is a large office building already occupied by other medical offices. We will occupy the entire first floor, and will have twice as much space as the current Student Health facilities. Keep track of our progress as construction proceeds.

ARCHITECTURE TEAM

The new Student Health Service is being designed by Francis Cauffman , an architecture, planning and interior design firm with extensive healthcare experience, including ambulatory care facilities. The team is led by Project Architect, Dilworth Yancey , and lead designer, Paula Miller.

 

 

 

 

 

 



SHS OBJECTIVES AND DESIGN PRINCIPLES

Our goals in the new Student Health Service are to maximize level of privacy and patient confidentiality, to provide sense of light and airiness throughout center and to enhance systems for patient safety and quality of care with clustering of similar functions and modules, with improved patient flow and efficiency of care.
