Eligibility to use Student Health depends upon the payment of the Clinical Fee or enrollment in the Penn-sponsored Insurance Plan. All full-time status students must be eligible to use Student Health. A mandatory Clinical Fee of $200.00 per semester will be automatically billed to students in the following schools: (selection of the Penn insurance will result in a subsequent reversal of the clinical fee)
Undergraduate Schools:
College
Engineering
Nursing
Wharton
College of General Studies (4 courses or more)
Graduate Schools:
Dental School
Fine Arts, Professional
Law School
Medical School
School of Social Work
Veterinary School
Wharton School
All Other Graduate Schools: (Taking 3 or more courses)
Part-time students may choose to use Student Health, by paying the Clinical Fee or enrolling in a PSIP.
Any other active Penn student may voluntarily pay the Clinical Fee in order to obtain access to Student Health. English-language program (ELP) students will be automatically eligible to use Student Health while they are taking classes, through payment of a Clinical Fee through their department.
Use of Student Health by Non-Students:
Spouses and domestic partners of Penn students may be seen on a fee-for-service basis, by presenting a Penn Guest Card. Children and students taking non-credit courses are not eligible to use Student Health.
