Information for December 2011 Graduates

The Penn Student Insurance Plan (PSIP) will terminate on 2/14/2012. Note: students who register for a new full-time program, or don't officially graduate, will be subject to the 2011-2012 insurance requirements.

Health Insurance Continuation

The Insurance Continuation Plan is available to students enrolled in the Penn Student Insurance Plan (PSIP) who lose their eligibility for the Penn Student Insurance Plan (PSIP) through official graduation or end of an academic program, and whose PSIP coverage will terminate 2/14/2012.

This plan will be available to terminating students and eligible dependents provided they were enrolled in PSIP for the previous six months.

If you wish to continue coverage, you will have the option to take advantage of all of the benefits under the 2011-2012 plan except for access to Student Health Services.
Under the continuation plan, you may see any in-network provider without the need for a referral from SHS.
