Health Insurance Continuation Information For Spring 2009 Graduates

The Insurance Continuation Plan is only available to insured students who lose their eligibility for the Student Insurance Plan in force with Aetna Life Insurance Company through official graduation or end of academic program, and whose PSIP coverage will terminate August 14, 2009.

This plan will be available to terminating students and eligible dependents as long as they were enrolled in PSIP for the previous six months. If you wish to continue coverage, you will have the option to take advantage of all of the benefits under the 2009-2010 plan except for access to Student Health Services.
Under the continuation plan, you may see any in-network provider without the need for a referral from SHS. Applications for continuation will be available starting July 14, 2009. Applications for this continuation must be completed and postmarked by August 31 2009.
