May 1, 2008 – The on-line system will open for new summer students only. May 31, 2008– The on-line system closes. Full-time summer students are not automatically covered. All eligible students must actively apply for summer coverage. September 15, 2008– The on-line system closes. All full-time and dissertation students who have not enrolled or waived are default enrolled onto the annual single plan. IMPORTANT NOTE: STUDENTS WHO WISH PSIP COVERAGE ARE REQUIRED TO ACTIVELY ENROLL ONLINE. Students who wish to enroll in PSIP should not use this mechanism as it may cause a disruption in coverage due to the increased processing time. Also changes in registration status can affect your eligibility and can result in a denial of coverage. Part-time students and spouses/dependents must voluntarily enroll by September 15, 2008. October 14, 2008 - November 3 , 2008 – Students may continue with withdraw manually with proof of alternative coverage. A $100 termination fee will apply. November 3 , 2008 @ 5:00 PM – Early termination is closed. Students may not cancel insurance for any reason after this date.
