Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI) are infections passed to a partner during vaginal, anal, or oral sexual contact. Some STIs, such as herpes, HPV, and molluscum, only need skin to skin contact to transmit from person to person with or without having intercourse. Many STIs have no symptoms and you can't tell if a partner has one.
If you have any questions, make a Women's health "STI testing" appointment, or an appointment with Erin Taylor, our Health Counselor. All providers in Women's Health, including Erin Taylor, offer STI testing and prevention education services in a non-judgmental environment.
Appointments with Erin Taylor are 30 minutes and can include free rapid HIV testing as well as STI testing. You will know your HIV status before you leave!
