Stress Reduction: Peace of Mind in Stressful Times Program
Are you feeling stressed out? The Department of Health Promotion and Education (formerly OHE) is offering individualized stress reduction sessions to Penn students who might be feeling a bit overwhelmed by daily pressures, or who are just interested in exploring alternative approaches for coping with stress. The stress reduction sessions will provide you with the opportunity to discuss your concerns with Sandi Herman, a caring health and wellness educator. You will learn concrete strategies for coping with stress, including guided meditation and visualization techniques, acupressure, and energy exercises. You will also learn better ways of managing your time and of communicating what you want and need from others. Sessions may also include Reiki, a form of "hands-on" energy work that promotes relaxation. The sessions are free to Penn students, confidential, and 50 minutes in length.
Stress reduction workshops are available for all student groups. Contact Sandi @ sandrah3@upenn.edu for more information.
