Pennsylvania Environmental Council

The Pennsylvania Environmental Council, celebrating its 40th Anniversary, is an environmental action non-profit that protects and restores the natural and built environments through innovation, collaboration, education and advocacy.

At the intersection between planning and implementation, PEC is currently engaged in coordinating and building segments of the East Coast Greenway, developing a strategy for increasing outdoor recreation opportunities on the Delaware River, and enhancing the natural environment through an eco-systems services market approach to wetlands restoration.

Philadelphia City Planning Commission

The City Planning Commission is responsible for guiding the orderly growth and development of the City of Philadelphia. The Commission's Home Rule Charter-mandated functions are to:

- Prepare, adopt, and modify a Comprehensive Plan of the City;
- Prepare an annual Capital Program and Budget;
- Prepare proposed zoning ordinances, maps, and amendments;
- Prepare regulations concerning the subdivision of land;
