Guidelines for Arranging A/V, Catering & Shipping Materials

Please check Handshake for the confirmed location of your event. Each venue has different procedures for making audiovisual, catering and shipping arrangements, which are outlined below.

Please note: On-Campus Recruiting cannot accept shipped materials. Unfortunately, we do not have the personnel to deliver materials, nor do we have the space to store them. Please see specific instructions for your venue.

THE WHARTON SCHOOL
(Steinberg-Dietrich and Jon M. Huntsman Halls)

Questions: Contact On-Campus Recruiting at 215-898-4379 or 215-898-3219.

Audiovisual:
All Wharton classrooms are equipped with a computer with internet connectivity and a projector and screen. A student or staff member will meet you in the room to help you log in to the system and assist in setting up any technology needs you may have. We strongly recommend bringing your presentation on a USB thumb drive, as well as an additional back-up copy (such as one accessible via email from a public device). Please note that technology systems in the Wharton School buildings only support a VGA connection to your laptop or other external device. If you wish to connect an Apple device to the system, you must bring a VGA converter.
Catering:
Catering in the Wharton School Building is limited to light snacks, such as cookies, fruit and water/soda. While each classroom typically has one table, unfortunately, there are no extra tables or chairs available to accommodate large amounts of food or guests over the maximum capacity. Most rooms have fixed-classroom style seating. Per Wharton policies, tables, chairs and all other items from another room may not be moved outside or to another room. Please refer to the university-approved caterers: Insomnia Cookies - 215-703-9271, DiBruno Bros. Catering & Events - 215-665-1659, Philadelphia Catering Co. - 215-468-0518, Perelman Quad Catering - 215-573-0830.
Publicity/Shipping Materials:
Advertise your session in The Daily Pennsylvanian, the student newspaper. Your presentation will also be publicized online in both the Career Services Event Calendar and in our recruiting system, Handshake.

The OCR staff will be unable to receive materials for your presentations. If you have materials you wish to ship in advance of your presentation, you should make arrangements with Campus Advertising Services, who will accept your materials and deliver them to your event. Please note: The Wharton facilities will not be responsible for any materials left in the classrooms. Any extra materials left in the rooms will be discarded at the end of the night.
