We are delighted to welcome Kerrin Lyons to Civic House as our Office Coordinator.  Kerrin brings to Civic House strong nonprofit experience in Philadelphia, and a deep commitment to supporting young people's engagement with their communities.  A graduate of Temple University, Kerrin comes to us from the Lenfest Center, where she played a variety of roles including overseeing all office and facilities operations and serving as an ambassador to the Hunting Park community. Most notably, Kerrin laid groundwork during her time as Program Coordinator of T.U.F.F. (Turned Up For Freedom) Girls by co-creating intergenerational spaces of healing and empowerment for Black and Latina girls of Hunting Park and facilitating art-based activist-driven workshops in and around the city.  In this and other ways, Kerrin has already demonstrated her commitment to a central part of Civic House's mission of connecting campus and community through meaningful partnerships.

At Civic House, Kerrin is responsible for organizing the House's overall activities, including our programs and events, coordinating and building community among student staff, managing facilities, processing and tracking financial activities, and maintaining our website content, among other areas.  Kerrin will also play an important role in Civic House's communications and alumni relations and development efforts.
