Civic House strives to provide programming for students interested in pursuing careers in the public interest.
This includes engaging alumni to discuss their careers with students, hosting public interest career panels,
and working with Career Services to present workshops that will support students seeking these types of careers.

This event is designed to help you better understand this industry and assist you in navigating the job or internship search for opportunities in the public interest. Our goal is to demystify some of the common myths about nonprofit careers as well as help you better determine which opportunities to pursue and how best to go about attaining them. Within this session we will also introduce you to available resources both on campus and the web.
