The Dana How Scholars Mentoring Program pairs Penn Students with West Philadelphia high school students participating in the Upward Bound program. The program runs from October through April and is designed to facilitate the creation of meaningful relationships between the two sets of students. Activities are designed to be fun and engaging, yet purposeful. Through these activities, both cohorts of students are encouraged to practice and implement skills useful for success in higher education and beyond. This unique mentoring opportunity is a partnership with Upward Bound, the Christian Association, and Dana How Social Services Fund.
