Spanish 200 will teach students to distinguish sounds and parts of speech for comprehension, expand vocabulary, exchange greetings, gain meaning aided by gesture and situation, write from dictation, develop an appreciation of Spanish-speaking cultures, use the internet for assignments.

Students who take Spanish 300 will become familiar with the Imperfect, Preterit, Conditional, Future, Subjunctive, Present Perfect, and Past Perfect Compound Tenses and the Passive Voice at an accelerated and rigorous pace. Training is in linguistic skills, speaking, listening, reading and writing with an emphasis on speaking/listening skills.
