Are you a budding playwright or director? Would you like to be?
Then propose to One Acts 2016!
Absolutely no experience necessary! Freshmen welcome!
One Acts, a Theatre Arts Council (TAC-e) collaboration, is now accepting proposals for our festival in early February. We're looking to take three to four student-directed plays and one student-written play!
Propose a show of your choosing by Monday, November 9th at 5PM. Please note that we want the full festival (between three and five shows) to run between 1.5 to 2 hours so be mindful when submitting your proposals. Shows should be no shorter than 5 minutes and no longer than 30 minutes.
After all our proposals are in, we'll contact you to schedule a short interview.
Propose your own original show by Monday, November 9th at 5PM. Please note that we want the full festival (between three and five shows) to run between 1.5 and 2 hours so be mindful when submitting your proposals. Shows should be no shorter than 5 minutes and no longer than 30 minutes.
Your work will be read by the One Acts board blindly - the TAC-e Chair will remove your name before giving them your proposal.
[Important!] You may not direct your own show, but if your show is selected, One Acts board will be more than happy to work with you to find an appropriate director. Furthermore, only final versions may be submitted - you cannot workshop them during the process, no exceptions.
Awesome, how do I propose?
