End Time 12:00 am
Come join the Kinoki Senior Society in our first philanthropy event, The 48 Hour Film Challenge for Arts Equality! On Friday 2/17 at 5 pm in 401 Fisher Bennett Hall, participants will be placed into teams. Kathy and Emory Van Cleve will oversee the challenge providing guidelines and prompts before groups begin to create their short film. Films will be due on Sunday evening, February 19th at 5 pm. At 8 pm, we will showcase these short films in Platt Performing Arts House and audience members will vote for their favorite film.
Food and drinks will be served at Platt during the showcase, and we will have special prizes for the winning teams! ALL proceeds from the event will go to support the 10 Day Film Challenge that is hosted by Arts Equality! Ten Day/Arts Equality seeks to support the Dreams Initiative by using its funds to affect meaningful industry advancement on the diversity front by helping close the achievement gap in the all of the arts industries for aspiring minority and female students.
