We are one of the nation's oldest Women's Centers, founded in 1973, and we work with students, staff and faculty of all genders and identities. The Penn Women's Center's mission is to promote gender justice, and to empower, support, and advance personal and professional development for women and female identified persons. We seek to achieve this by sponsoring student groups, highlighting the work of women and female-identified persons, advocating on a wide range of issues, and providing confidential crisis and options counseling. We welcome genderqueer, nonconforming, nonbinary, transgender persons and cisgender women and men to get involved in our community.
The video below, made as part of our 40th Anniversary Voices of Change Project, celebrates our past and present. We hope it will inspire you to become part of our future. Please stop by our Center at 3643 Locust Walk to find out how you can get involved.
